Coaches
All coaches are qualified and insured, and at least one of the team onsite will have a valid first aid certificate. These are available on request. All staff will have attended Safeguarding training and will be DBS checked.
Understanding risk
Due to the nature of activities at a gymnastics session, we remind you that the possibility of serious injury exists. It is vital that members follow instructions given to them by coaches to decrease the risk of injury. By attending the classes, it is deemed you accept all risks associated with participation.
Physical contact
Parents should be aware that due to the nature of gymnastics it is necessary for the coaches to have physical contact – known as ‘supporting’ or ‘spotting’ the gymnasts.
Photography
During the term, some photographs may be taken which may be used in future to promote Stanmore Gymnastics, both in print and online. If you do NOT wish your child’s image to be used in this way, please let us know by emailing stanmoregymnastics@gmail.com.
We will always contact you in advance before using any photographs of your child. Please note that names will not be used in any publicity adjacent to photographs of children.
